For our annual family reunion we went
to Bear Lake again. We stayed in a
really nice 5 bedroom cabin/house. It
looked more like a house. It was really
nice and comfortable for all of us. We
played games, watched movies, relaxed in the hot tub and ate lots of yummy
food. We only left the cabin a couple
times to go to the lake. The water was
really high so there wasn’t a lot of beach locally. But we were told to go over the border to Idaho
and there is a great beach. So we did
and it was perfect!! The sand was
perfect and the water was ankle deep for about 200 yards and was bath water
warm. So nice! Especially for the little kids. We didn’t have to worry so much about
them. There was even a spot in the water
that the sand was barely above water so John, Andy and the little kids made a
sand castle in the water.
It was a really relaxing time and we
can’t wait for next year. It’s mine and
John’s turn to find a place and plan everything for next year. Everyone thinks we’re going to Moab, but
they’ll just have to wait and see!
