Fish Lake Reunion

So my immediate family has decided to have a family reunion every year now. This year we went to fish lake and stayed in some cabins. The weather was ok most of the time but sunday it was so windy my dad and brother-n-law Andy had to help a boat that flipped. The fishing wasn't what I think the boys were hoping it would be only my dad and Ruben caught a fish! To bad Ruben was scared to death of his fish!

We went Otter Creek Reservoir a town near by to watch the fireworks Saturday night. It was way cold but the kids loved it!

We had our own little Dutch Oven Cook Off, but not as many dutch ovens as the Wilson Reunions. I made chicken marinaded in italian dressing and lemon pepper seasoning. It was a first for me and I didn't even have a recipe to follow! Thats how easy it was to make and it was a hit!

Ruben loves John!

My mom planned a little scavenger hunt for the kids but got canceled then changed because of a little rain and ALOT of wind. So we just had it inside between the two cabins. They still had fun and loved there prizes!

Mady's the only one in the family that will not kiss any one on the lips but she's been watching alot of disney (princess) movies. haha I liked the kissing fishies!

Father's Day weekend

Over Father's Day weekend we went up to my grandparents house on my mothers side, and had a mini family reunion. It had been awhile since I've seen everyone.

Later some of my cousins and us went to the Manti Miracle pageant. My cousin Matthew was in as preacher #3 and Joseph running from the mobs. He was in it last year too! He's great!

Late Post..

So life has been crazy.. for me and John. We've moved in with my parents suddenly when my mom had a bad fall. She's doing lots better now! Then we went to Moab (John's favorite place on earth) on June 3 until June 6 and had a great time! It was nice seeing old friends that we only get to see in Moab.
