Way late post but I wanted to share these pictures.
This year we spent Christmas at my parents house. It was a lot of fun with Zeign and Laina together. They kept running back and forth to check out what each other got. I'm so very grateful to my parents for letting us live with them for a few months. And I'm grateful that Laina was able to be so close to her grandparents. She has such a bond with them now! I love it!
As tradition in my family. My parents always put a blanket up to the room with the presents from Santa. To make sure we didn't see what we were getting before my parents were ready. I love this tradition because when we were all up we would go into the bathroom and bang on the wall to wake up my parents on the other side of the wall. Then my dad would always come in and say "A herd of elephants woke me up!"
Laina loved her kitchen set! She wouldn't open her presents after seeing it.
John and his mad gift wrapping skills! That cool looking bow is hand made. I don't know how he thinks of this stuff.
This Christmas was so special to me because I was able to spend it with both my families. Sharing all the same traditions I did with my daughter in my childhood home. It was a sweet feeling. I love my family and am so grateful to spend times like these with them. I'm grateful for my Savior and the love He has for me to give me the opportunity to have an eternal family. And for my Heavenly Father for sending His Son.
