2 weeks

Thursday Laina turned 2 weeks old!  We went to the doctor and my tiny baby is growing.  She now weighs 7 lbs 16th%, 19.5 inches 18th%, head circ. 13.5 inches 24th%.  We went to the doctor the day after we went home from the hospital to have her bili checked and she weighed 6.4lbs so in one week she has gained 12oz.  I couldn't believe it!

Some things she is doing right now.  She can already roll to both sides.  She loves her crib.  She was actually sleeping in her crib at one week old.  She is the biggest cuddle bug.  She is happiest when she is being held especially by her daddy.  And she is really good at holding her head up for about 15 seconds at a time.  She is very strong.  She continues to surprise us everyday.  And we just love her to pieces!

I still have a few things I want to do to the nursery but I thought I would post some pictures of the progress we've made on it.  
While I was staying in the hospital John bought this super cute rug and completely surprised me when I got home.  I had been looking for a cute springy rug but never could find one.  I love it!  John's parents bought us the crib and the rocking chair was his mom's.

The little slipper bank was John's when he was little.  It was silver and rusty looking.  So I painted it white and it looks brand new!

I bought this office chair at DI for $5.  It had black marker on it and a couple of tares.  

With the help of my parents we refurnished it with some cute fabric!  I really like how it turned out.  I had the wrong idea about refurnishing its not as easy as I thought it would be.  But I love how it turned out!
