New Hobby!

So I've become addicted to this blog "Make it and Love it" it's all about sewing and cooking. I want to do all of the things she puts on there, but I don't have a sewing machine. The other day she made something that was way cheap and easy to do without a sewing machine. A table runner! I just added a few little touches of my own..

I went to Joann's to get the vinyl that she said to get and everything "fall" was 50% off. So I got this container of plastic veggies for my center piece. It was only $5!

Then I went to the dollar store and got some colored leaves. Just like she did I spent $5 bucks there too and had way to many leaves! Then I just hot glued them onto the vinyl.

Then I put the center pieces in a bowl I already had that went great and there! It is now fall in our kitchen!

Thanks to John for getting me all this fun stuff to do! It was fun and took me about an hour..
Now to just unpack my boxes from moving.. ugh...

Sadie..

My dearest friend passed away..

I'm going to miss her!

Old post..

Back in July my sister Michelle and her husband Shawn hiked the Uintas. So me and John stayed at their house and watched their kids for 4 days and 4 nights. It was quite the adventure haha we had a lot of fun! I found some pictures we took with our phones and wanted to share.

Saturday morning I took all the kids to McDonalds for breakfast and got them pancakes and smoothies. They thought it was great! Ruben wanted chicken nuggets really bad until I told him he could get pancakes!

Lucky for us the whole weekend was the Wilson Reunion so we had plenty to do with the kids. So we drove up Santaquin canyon everyday. The kids were able to do crafts, play games with their cousins, and they even had a carnival!

John helped Ruben make a sail boat to float down the river.

Look how excited he was!

Sunday (our last day up the canyon) it started to pour ran! And because we didn't bring our own tent or trailer we locked ourselves in the van for a couple of hours. To keep them busy we played princesses with the girls with the prizes they won from the carnival. It was really cute. I think it turned out to be more like a fashion show.. :)

They had so much fun!

I really planned on taking more pictures but ya know how it goes having 4 kids all at once for the first time.. It takes some getting use to! haha just kidding! We love those kids and would do it all over again in a heart beat!

We've moved!!!!

So we're officially moved into our little apartment. We are so excited to finally have our own place again. It feels like were married again and not just having a slumber party every night.. haha just kidding. I'm glad we got the experience and were able to help my parents out but its good to be home.
We don't have everything put away in there little places yet so no pictures so far. I can't wait to put all my pictures on the walls and have every box unpacked. Saturday I spent most of the day washing dishes. We don't have a dishwasher so I had to wash 5 boxes by hand, bla... it was exhausting... And I still have like 3 boxes to go.. But it sure feels good to have dishes in my cubbards.

1 down 1 to go

John finished the first block of the Police Academy! I can't believe it flew by so fast! Now we just have 4 more months of it and he's all done! Except for there is a 4 month break between now and when the 2nd block starts :( But I just know its going to fly by as well because these next 4 months are our busiest months of the year. There is Halloween, Thanksgiving, John's birthday, Christmas, our anniversary and my birthday.. (gasp) All between now and January.. awe.. its going to be exhausting I'm afraid! But I can't wait to be done with school and start on our goals that come after ;) hee hee..

An Answered Prayer

A job position opened up at the bank where I work. I didn't really think anything of it because I like my job and I just got a second job. But the Loan Officer in that department offered me the job, twice (because the first time I thought he was kidding..) so I put my application in and pretty much was handed the job.
I just love how the Lord works. Me and my husband have been praying for some financial guidance and help... And now I have a new job, CSR / Loan Assistant; which entitles me to full time (instead of 2 part time jobs), a pay raise and benefits! I know that the Loan Officer was inspired to think of me for the position. Now I don't have to work sundays and I can spend more time with my husband!! I love that! I feel so blessed and grateful!

Little Moab Camp Out

Well as some of you know John is jeep crazy and is now not only a member of an online jeep forum, but now is the president of his own online jeep crew (Utah Jeep Crew). The members are only jeepers in utah. It's pretty fun because we get to meet the members more then once a year and go jeeping all summer long.
So this last weekend a few of the members and us got together and went to Little Moab and camped out! But the best part I got to drive!!!
for like a second..

Everyone that came. John's parents jeep is the Liberty on the right.

It was way fun except for 2 things: I couldn't sleep for some reason my mind was set on bears.. ugh.. and the wind! It was so bad the tent was folding on us all night. I'm sure if we weren't in it it would have flown away then during the day it would pick up the sand and hit us in the face like little pins..
All in all we had a great time and crashed when we got home..
